The Charing Cross Symposium is a leading global event in vascular and endovascular surgery with more than 4 000 attendees from more than 86 countries. One of the core sessions is the CX Innovation showcase, including the Dragons' Den.

Eleven entrepreneurs entered the Dragons' Den to present their ideas to an expert panel at CX Symposium, held in London April 15-18, 2019 . The expert panel was represented by Prof. Andrew Holden (Radiology, New Zealand), Prof. Frans Moll (Vascular Surgery, The Netherlands), Bob Mitchell (B Braun Medical, USA), Dr. Peter Philips (Lombard Medical, UK), Chas Taylor (Novate Medical and Veryan Endovascular, UK), Jeffrey Jump (Medalliance, Switzerland), and Alan Edwards (Ruthin, UK).

The Dragons voted for 10MD to win the prize for their work on the TeXray radiation protection textile.

"I´m proud to be announced as winner in the Dragons Den at CX symposium, which is recognized as one of the key global meetings in endovascular surgery. Receiving recognition from the expert panel proves that our patented textile and products fulfills true customer needs", says Petra Apell one of the founders of 10MD.
